hi,
why is it that im not able to post any threads or answers in the other forums like "Rumor Mill" "Security" and so on....?
im only able to post here in the newbie section.
thanks
-
It's a raw deal for sure, but it's by design that newbies can't post anywhere but this forum until their postcount is above 50.
-
Absolute shit policy in my circumstance. I have been here a year and now I can't post in the forums I have been using for over a year.
I should be at least grandfathered in. Not banished to this worthless forum where only one person (nomad) can be expected to help with my problem. One day after my post of lost bitcoins I am already on page 5. LoL
-
yep, join the club

This incarceration is a travesty. Free Carbon!
-
Ughhh same here, this sucks. So what should we do? Obviously nobody wants this board spammed 50 times by those of us who shouldve been grandfathered in in the first place. What was the reasoning behind this?
-
yupp u need 50 . so heres one more for me....i have a long way to go
-
Ok so at least I am not alone..
-
Fuckin' BS. I need to post about alprazolam solubilty and mixing:(
-
There have already been a bunch of posts bitching about this. Read up, post up, move on.
-
Yea even long timers who dont post tto much but observe and pick topics to post on got screwed
-
I lose two posts somehow..weird.
-
Makes sense. Lessens the amount of people creating accounts to bad mouth vendors.
-
Its a bit annoying
-
SPAM

and I thought I was tripping. I´ve been using the forums for a couple of month now. I like to read more than post sensless shiite so now I am stuck in the newbie forum after trying to post a review to a vendor which i promised to do. Is there anyway around this?
-
They probably have deemed you unworthy
-
I deem you guys that have been around over a year not helping the newbs with your knowledge. Kinda selfish.

A key to success is honestly lurking in the forums. I can't tell you how many times that I have heard a veteran member here say that they lurked for around a year before making even their first small purchase. Caution is king.
-
one more under my belt
-
I don't think it's that big of a deal
-
kinda make sense..

You have a point. :)
-
I've been using the forums for a while too, and now I found myself unable to post and I couldn't realise what was going on... until I figured.
There could have been a rule about older member with a lowish post count. Lurking is good when you're a newbie, but when you're entitled to post, you should be able to in my opinion.
Well whatever, I guess DPR has his reasons. And even if he doesn't, that's the way it is. The only thing that stinks is not being able to review a vendor as I promised I would (a good review by the way).
I refuse to post meaningless comments to reach 50.
-
I do not have such high standards.
-
I also am quite reluctant to post utter meaningless shit, but on the other hand i want to get out of this useless part of the forum full of misguided information and useless posts.
People really need to look around and find some decent topics on security before they start buying things from SR.
-
almost outta here!
-
Am slowly getting there >:(
-
Badda bing, badda boom.
-
Badda bing, badda boom.
Grats, you made it. Tell me what its like on the other side!
-
I don't really want to spam like 45 post, just to be able to make a few normal posts again. There must be another way dealing with this... please ;)
-
It's like being trapped in my own personal hell.
-
sucks ass
-
That's the rules, simple as that, just make sure u make 50 posts that are not complete bs and u are good to go
